Favorite Artist-LAURIE ZESZUT-who happens to be my best friends mom

Laurie Zeszut is the most amazingly creative person I know!  Her art is bold, bright, and whimsical.  I want to be a Laurie Zeszut painting!  I have the above Serigraph and COVET it!  She doesn't limit her work to canvas either.  She paints on chairs, tables, beds, dressers, etc.  I would LOVE to see her start her own children's clothing line!  Images like these on little girls shirts and dresses would be BRILLIANT!  She is one cool broad and my wish for her is that she NEVER stops painting and showing the world her uniquely AWESOME work!!  Check out her site!

My FIRST "These are a few of my favorite things" post!!

I'm not going to shamelessly plug my business (stelladot.com/jamiepope) for my first "favorite things" post (there will be plenty of that later) so instead I will blog about one of my guilty TV pleasure, Tosh.O.  It is on Comedy Central and it focuses in Internet viral videos, sharing a set-up similar to Talk Soup on E. AT first I thought the host was racist and was offended, but as I watched I realized he is an equal opportunist and is just commenting on the videos that the people voluntarily put on Youtube.
There is way to much to say about the show.  It is HILARIOUS!!!!!  Check it out!

LOOK AT ME; I'm BLOGGIN!!

So, this is my first attempt to be a BLOGGER!  I wanted to create a space where I can share a few of my favorite things as I find them from lots of different categories, jewelry, fashion, products, home design, beauty, food, travel, deals, etc.  My goal is to ramble about all my great finds and have fun along the way.
