Chevron Print

Hello!  How was every ones Easter?  Mine was nice and relaxing!  I have been doing lots of online browsing, but am waiting to go shopping.  MAJOR changes are happening in the next few weeks for me, so I am waiting to shop until it's all settled (=
One trend that I have constantly seen for Spring/Summer is the CHEVRON print and if placed right it can be quite flattering!  What is a Chevron print, you ask?  Well "Chevron print consists of inverted “v” shapes. This particular shape has been found in many forms of ancient art, such as pottery and stone carvings. In history, the chevron figure is usually associated with the emblems and symbols used in military or police uniforms.
This pattern has an especially retro vibe, and was especially popular in the '70s. In recent years, chevron has made an enormous comeback. While chevron has a mod feel to it, the print can be seen in today’s most chic outfits. You can easily find chevron print on anything, from skirts to handbags. Metal jewelry can also be found in chevron metal shapes, creating a trendy and geometric look. "

At first I thought this pattern would make me look wider like horizontal stripes can do.  But, depending on the placement of the V shape it can create a slimming effect especially in a skirt.  Here are a few of my favorite Chevron prints that I found works for a full figure.  Once again I tried to play with some color too. Tell me what you think.
